Micro Jam is a bi-weekly Game Jam (game development competition) held on itch.io. Every Jam has a pre-set theme and a surprise prerequisite that is divulged once the Jam starts. The prerequisite can be voted on in the Micro Jam Discord server and is open for interpretation.
It's absolutely fine if you do not finish your game in time. You can submit it late within 6 hours after the submission window closes!

When submission is over, there will be a 48 hour rating period. These are the criteria:
➤ Enjoyment - how fun it was to play the game
➤ Presentation - how well the visuals, sound, colors, etc, work together, and also controls/gameplay
➤ Art & Audio - graphics, sound, how well things are styled and look
➤ Use of theme - how well the theme is integrated
➤ Use of prerequisite - how well the prerequisite is integrate
▸After the voting period has ended, a Judge panel will assess a bracket of games to be chosen to receive a prize (See "Prizes" section above).
➤ Keep the game content clean (no explicit, NSFW or disturbing graphics)
➤ Keep the game content in English (except for the title; it can be in any language)
➤You are allowed to change/submit a late entry 6 hours after the Jam ends, and you can do so through our Discord
➤ Game files cannot be edited after the submission deadline. The following six hours are only for new late submissions. To update an existing entry, you must delete it and resubmit it through the late-submission channel, which may reset its ratings.
➤ You can't win 2 prizes in the same category (we won't consider your lower ranking game for judging)
➤ To be eligible for prizes, you must be in our Discord community.
