Hiya! Just a bit of feedback for solo player weight gain; I feel like some events (namely the All-you-can-eat Buffet/Food Market/Bake Sale type events) are pretty frustrating to play into and honestly, I find myself skipping them whenever they’re on. It’s the dice roll aspect in particular that irks me. For example, a player character could be at 20% fullness yet they’d decide to tap out before the next meal because they failed the roll. The ‘Bake Sale’ is honestly the worst offender for this just because of how many rolls you need to make, I nearly never bother with it.

I understand that the success rate scales with persuasion and feeder perks, but for player weight gain persuasion isn’t a factor and the feeder perk that makes these rolls easier is unlocked wayyy into the run, and it’s already much harder to level up the feeder skill tree just from player weight gain.

I know that the players appetite is a factor, but even with a ravenous appetite I frequently find my character failing rolls, rarely do they ever get to/past 100%. Honestly, the inconsistency just isn’t fun to play into and it takes away player agency.

Would it be possible to scrap the dice roll just for player characters participating in these events and let them eat to the limits of their appetite? Perhaps link the player’s appetite to the player’s capacity to keep the stat from becoming redundant, ‘Hungry’ adds a +5 to the player’s capacity, ‘Ravenous’ adds a +15 etc. It would make it much more notable whenever the player has these status effects, as it wouldn’t just affect the aforementioned events but also the Eating Competition, Pub Quiz, OnlyFats Streams etc!

EDIT: I also noticed that random events never apply.  I get the “Your next meal will be free!” random event but I’m always charged for the next meal. Also side note; it would be nice to see how many calories regular meals that you buy have!

Again, thank you so much for the amazing game!

Yeah, I don't really like those events either. Especially since the time you spend on them could be spent much more efficiently by clicking through days as fast as possible by feeding the girl/yourself the biggest available meal at the date location during every available time slot.

Personally, I'd jack up the calories gained from the events to the high heavens. Like, have it be a Dizzy's sponsored bake sale, a Dizzy's sponsored Pub Quiz, and so on for all the event types. Have it be an actually effective and efficient way to make a girl/yourself absolutely blow up rather than how it is now where it's both inefficient AND time consuming.

Maybe when you open a Dizzy's in the town or when the obesity level in the city or at national level exceeds a procent.Be it the town for 60% and at national level 50% or something like that.

It's true, they're not very efficient right now. I'll do some calorie calculations to try and balance them better. The next update adds a new prize reward for the quiz & eating competition to make them more appealing too.

You're right, those dice rolls do take away player agency. I'll get that changed so if you're doing the events solo, it'll be totally up to you when you stop.

Good idea to have appetite affect capacity!

Thanks too for reporting about the random events. They date back to the original version of the game, so perhaps they got broken by one of the later updates. I'll look into it & get it fixed.

Thank you for the reply! Appetite affecting capacity is something that I’ve always thought would go hand in hand, so I’d love to see something like that implemented!

As for the random events, the only one that does work for me is the “You found £20!” one. “Your next meal purchase will be free!” is broken and “Your next meal will be more fattening!” just isn’t easily quantified so I can never tell if it works or not! I do love the random events though, I like to play it slow so they add a nice variety to the gameplay! <3
