Alice and the Rabbit V – everyone's having fun
The train rushes off into the distance again. A kind green train. And Alice runs into the field. Her arms spread wide. This field. Such a kind place. Where they live – the kindest friends – kind little animals. Here lives a grasshopper, a mole, and, of course, a rabbit. Who loves to drink tea.
The field is so bright green. The most cloudless colors. And the sky is all in white clouds. But small ones. How beautiful it is here. And the weather is wonderful. It's summertime. The grasshoppers are already singing. Their songs. So many of them. And they have many songs. Sometimes Alice sings along with them. But it's not so easy to learn a new melody every time. The melodies can be very simple. And sometimes very clever. Oh, these musicians! Alice thinks each time. And she runs into the field further.
And there the mole is digging holes. And all the time he holds out his shovel. He says Alice can help. Such a small shovel. And the mole has lots of them. But Alice goes on. And there's a rabbit. The rabbit is drinking tea. His tea is the most delicious in the world. Alice sits in the field with the rabbit, drinking tea. The rabbit talks about all sorts of incredible things that happen there in the field.
Alice and the rabbit. The best friends in the world. What a wonderful field. And what a wonderful friend. Fluffy. And long-eared. And very smart. And a great tea drinker. The mole just crawled out of the hole. And sat down to drink tea. That makes it even more fun. The mole is smart too. And sometimes a grasshopper comes home from music rehearsal. And a squirrel. The hare comes. The hare is a gardener. And he loves to grow carrots. He treats everyone.
The animals are doing well. The field is wonderful and huge. The weather is great. Alice is happy. The animals are resting. In a word, everyone is having fun. Further down in the field, there are even more cheerful little animals. They have their own little houses. At night, the moon comes to visit. It's the most magical time here. So says the rabbit. Everything glows with moonlight. And during the day, with sunlight. It's like two different worlds. Alice should see this. And not go to bed. Then the little mice wake up. And the owl. Night creatures. They're also interesting.
The mole knows the most about them. He may be a night creature. He still digs holes. It's the same day as night to him. Anything suits him. So it's best to ask the mole. The rabbit drinks his tea and falls asleep. Under the moonlight. The stars in the sky light up. So magical. But the rabbit is already asleep.
