Got a free copy of this during the 1pg RPG jam. Zone Trooper is a minimalist sci-fi game. Survival is the main issue the Zone Trooper contends with as they explore the chem-ridden wastelands, hoping to finish their mission before their health or their grenades run out. At least, that's what I felt during the game. Everything plays pretty quickly, and I liked Mission 6 a lot. My only caveat is that for people with bad eyesight, you might want to print this at a slightly larger scale or with reduced margins. I printed this as is on A4 and both the body and header text were hard to read. People with dexterity issues may also have trouble moving the little player marker that you cut out before you start the game. Overall, one of my favorite entries for the jam, gameplay- and aesthetics-wise.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes Zone Trooper is definitely a survival rather than combat orientated game. Fair points on the accessibility, something generally has to give when pushing the 1pp format to the edge, but hopefully the compromises are workable, including scaling and tiling print in the extreme cases.

Glad you're enjoying gameplay and aesthetics of the game!
