strong atmosphere. love love love the soundtrack, the backgrounds of rotting urban architecture and mushrooms, the cgs and how they mesh adorable character designs with grimy real-world photos... to me reading this vn felt like watching an unknown scifi OVA from the early 2000s and listening the new millenium series (but especially risoukyou ~utopia~)

from the start, i knew that the girl in the future segments was the robotic version of nita, but you handled that reveal well, esp with the way that you witheld her appearance until the very end. i also love how galia's personality had been integrated into the mushroom hivemind... always a big fan of that in fiction.
likewise, i loved reading about how nita and galia lived their lives, and coped with the oncoming apocalypse. one of my favorite types of stories is just... watching people try to live through normal routines when they know everything will end in a matter of days. the shopping scene said so much with its visuals, and i legit got nervous when nita forgot the money as she and galia went to the hospital. i have been in both hers and galia's position and it is Not pleasant either way. the questionnaire scene was fantastic too, and i have to wonder if nita's answers affected the personality uploaded to her machine copy.
great stuff all around. ill be thinking about this one a lot
