Are the enemy designs inspired by Madoka Magica?
Not really. The main inspiration (Atleast in the beginning) was the gnosis from Xenosaga, but of course a little more on the abstract side. A lot of them are collages from a lot of different stock images as well. Wanted to give the idea of messy existences for some weird dimension and all.
I did watch the first episode of Madoka Magica at some point, but didn't stick with it back then.
