I just want to say here that the update didn't show on my itch.io feed or notifications for some reason. Everything is set to inform me on itch.io, but the fact that I had to hear about this on Discord is annoying.
Unfortunately, yeah, it's been a long-standing problem with itch. Despite complaints to them, there hasn't been any changes as far as I know.
