Hahaha
Since I'm not Russian this was sadly my response.
TF2 being a great facsimile for real life experiences and moments.
Another day, another disappointment.
This is getting old faster and faster, but these idiots keep doing it. I will say that I believe that if someone is dumb enough to select some random link that is obviously not legit or is just plain suspicious they deserve to get hacked, but this bot and hacker problem is really bad and just stupidly annoying.
I've seen at least 20 games here on itch.io get bots and scams in comments. So it should be expected they are everywhere on itch.io, at least in comments. Some devs have turned off comments just because of this.
First of all DnD in a visual novel is a great idea, just potential outcomes skyrocket when these choices become available to players. So I understand time is necessary.
I will wait and am happy to hear any progress for all Night Fox Works games. So please take your time, be safe and good luck in development.
I just got to finish this game
The artwork is beautiful and the music is perfect for each scene.
This is definitely feeling shorter than the other stories, to me at least, but it was worth the wait.
The guest character from Mr. Blacks story was appealing to me, nice to feel that there is more going on in the world. Also seeing what I believe was Cap wearing Mita in the background as an outline was funny. Then the direct reference to Malo, a happy surprise.
My only question was what was that ending? Night Fox being there, that surprised me. Reminded me of a woman with a lot of hair also sitting at a bar telling stories from another game, starts with a C.
Also I was sleepy by the end. I misread and thought 682 had gotten a surprise for the protag and immediately assumed she got a crib.
P.S. Perhaps like MalO if that gets another update, this story can also get an extention I would be happy. Short and sweet stories are awesome, but I mean, Alaska is not really known for its sunflowers. Maybe a few extra bits for clearing up the couples new environment would be helpful. Honestly, I just don't want to say goodbye to this story.
Honestly can't complain about the game, I really want to go on a praising tangent or something. There is no problems or headaches that interfere with my enjoyment of the story or character interactions. The game is great.
It is the waiting time and the development as a whole that is slowly grinding my sanity and reminding me I am going to be old by the time the full series or game releases. The current version is fun, entertainment worth waiting for, it is just so long a wait.
I want to see the game truly completed, and be able to enjoy the story. I am just getting older while it is being made, and in all that time passing, I might not get to see the next part or the game's completion.
Oh thank goodness, they live!
Thank you for replying and I'm glad your alright.
Just to follow up my comment, everything you've put into this is amazing, please do what you've been doing up to this point because it clearly is awesome, the various characters and attention to details, the art and music, all amazing.
Great game, great humor, great gameplay, great everything, and etc.
Really great work, please be safe PastryIRL and good luck in development.
Also, is it wrong to request a report on devs and their wellbeing? I've been worried about PastryIRL as well as some others due to prolonged waits between updates.
Dussop you keep doing everything I want for this game so far, and I'm not even asking.
So either you are a genius, we are psychically linked, or you and I just have similar ideas.
Just trying to say, your game is great and I am grateful to play it. It hasn't disappointed me once. Honestly, I just want more of it, and more misadventures with the characters in game.
The game has the stuff I like, good looking art, good music, it has some mystery, and it let's me choose how to do things. It just feels like the 1.9 version is a bit of a mess when comes to dialogue and some events.
WARNING ⚠️ LONG COMMENT
The game works great without problem on PC and Android. No stutter, no lag or delay, and no crashes.
I really like the map and art. The music is also appealing. The bondable characters are likable if you get past some trying to kill you and the girls are attractive.
The stat requirements are frustrating. I have to know what to to use and focus on ahead of time, I have to know what quests and jobs to do first, and even then bad things still happen plot wise even though I should be a god based on those stats. I get that some encounters are necessary for meeting or bonding with girls but I know an alternative should be possible when my guy at one point shouldn't get folded since prior he didn't against a more impressive threat. Still, the stat requirements is one the reasons I played this game, I enjoy rpgs. I just want some more recognition for my character being better stat wise.
The dialogue is also frustrating at the later end of quests and storylines. The things they say or do doesn't make sense. I killed this guy, why are they talking about him like I let him run away? Why is my guy letting clearly bad people live when he has every reason to kill or let them die? Mind you I chosen to let a certain elf live because I wanted to, a redemption leading to her turning into a housewife was surprising to me, but not all villains like the bandits deserve mercy, especially not those damn goblins. Early on the incidents of my guy letting some bandits live would make sense, but after that he should know better but he stops someone from killing them when they clearly are bad, then he does it again after that when it clearly was a bad idea because he got stabbed because plot said so. Again with stats not having as much effect as I'd like. I had run into a monster that required 7 reflex to auto dodge, that experience made me think I would be able to react quickly enough to avoid danger from lesser threats, the plot said otherwise.
The story overall was clear and I wanted to do more. There are some typos here and there but it didn't ruin the story or event. I hope more jobs, hunts, and quests will be made available earlier in story and game to make things smoother for progression, I felt I had to grind the entire monster population to pass some requirements. Since the very idea of letting Gab get r'd or me killing her was not something I'm okay with, damn goblins, can you believe that dumbass protag considered sparing them. He treated July like shit at first when he finds out the truth but the moment he feels more powerful he thinks maybe goblins can be allowed to live, when he clearly shows that he trusts books hence his treatment of July and those books say don't trust goblins, that and his own past experiences say goblins are the enemy.
So in summary, my frustration with the protag and my absolute hate towards goblins aside, I had fun with this version. There's several issues in consistency across events like someone being dead, but people talk like they are still alive like the goblin leader. Some typos here and there, and the stat system needs work and to be more relevant cause I'm am tired of getting dogwalked one moment then being badass the next.
I want to ask for more options early on to get level ups, like quests and hunting options, and to have a full gallery of our experiences in game. Also, perhaps a list of known characters we know and or meet, maybe an in game list of our romance options since I do not have a clue who is and isn't.
The game is fun, and it has alot to do. I want to see more and do more. I like it and hope it gets more improvements and content.
Thank you Ero Sandwich Studio for this game. Please be safe and good luck going forward in development.
Play this game if you like good stories with interesting and very likable characters.
The music and art are pleasant, and I always feel a nostalgia seeing NomnomNami games.
The game, once you get through the process of downloading everything plays smoothly and is easy to play.
Great game, and worth watching be developed.
I just wish I could play it while moving, I'm away from my pc more than I'd like. So when this game is truly complete I hope NomnomNami will make this available to Android users too. If they can get help from a publisher or trustworthy group then great, but I really want to be able play this on Android.
