That's very cool! Personally, I create 3D low-poly assets on Blender, which is mostly oriented around science-fiction themes, such as spaceship models. It is completely different, but it's cool to see someone else also into asset creation.

I've just started using Blender for commercial purposes (I've had it for a while and used it occasionally, but I'm now using it with the goal of uploading and selling assets). I want to use it for more, like animation, but for now I'm just creating static objects.

What tools do you use for asset creation? I'm wondering if there's an app like Blender for what you are doing (I'm a Windows Paint enjoyer) and what features it has.

Hey, thanks! Your sci-fi work sounds really cool too.

For my pixel art workflow, I mainly use Aseprite. It’s probably the closest thing I’d recommend if you’re looking for a dedicated pixel art tool. I use it for drawing/editing, pixel cleanup, color adjustments, separating sprites, creating sprite sheets, and animations.

Aseprite is pretty easy to get into, especially if you’re already comfortable with something simple like Paint, but it has a lot more features specifically made for pixel art and animation. :)
