I am totally a-okay with it staying first person POV overall. Hell, I'm someone who still loved Haru's route in the OG. They became my fav LI which surprised me greatly.
I say do whatever makes you happy with it, it's your brainchild, and those who gel with it will find their way there. Better than giving yourself resentment or regretting choices you do with it. :3
