The demon designs are cool, but there are some issues.
The demon with the knife is way too fast.
When playing as the demon with the pistol, you can get soft-locked if an enemy gets stuck in the furniture.
The coolest demon is the one with the orbital attack, but at one point the game just stopped, and the room stopped changing.
I think the controls for all demons should be mapped to the Left Mouse Button instead of the 'J' key, and the screen rotation should be less intense.
That said, the vibe is really cool. Also, people on itch.io are often too lazy to download games (especially if they require installation). It should be easy to export the game to the browser in GDevelop (since GDevelop is HTML-based)

In any case, in my opinion, this is one of the best games in the jam, but it needs polishing

Hey, thanks a lot!

Hell yeah, I actually ended up liking how fast the green one is lol, though it definitely needs some more polish, especially the deceleration. I kind of gave up tweaking that because I thought it was good enough, and I didn't have time to get more feedback between that update and the jam deadline. (Hell yeah, it used to be even faster.)

Damn, I actually know exactly what causes that in the code now that you mention it. I don't think I'll remake the game from scratch, but I'll probably end up making a less buggy version in the future.

I'm glad you liked the purple one :3 Fun fact: that mechanic was totally inspired by the golden shield from Hollow Knight.

I get it. I really should have included multiple control schemes, but I ended up going with the quickest option, mostly because I don't have a mouse and do everything on a laptop. So I don't really like playing with the blue one myself, but I thought it would be interesting to include. And regarding the screen rotation, yeah, I still need to do more testing to figure out the best approach, though I personally kind of liked it.

Oh, I had no idea people avoided downloading files like that. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll definitely look into making a web version later.

Thanks again, and yeah, it's definitely far from perfect lol.

One thing I really want to do if I keep working on the project is give it a proper narrative, since the game basically has no story right now.
