That is exactly how experience was intended. Also yeah, those sounds are randomly pooled out of 20 different, this technique is called ambient sounds.

Also excited to see that you beat it. Even myself who knows the algorithm inside out beat it like 1/10 times.

Did you find the map useful or did you use the grace time to kamikaze to exit?

Yeah I used the map, I only realised the second time that the cross was the well and not the starting point haha.

The grace time I tried to use to find more coal, but was unsuccessful with the darkness, and I did use it to close the tiny gap to the exit right at the end.

Yeah that I wanted to hear. Because other playtesters also thought X marks spawn, I'll have to update to make it obvious.
