OMG my heart skipped a beat when I saw this on my feed. I thought maybe the sequel dropped. But definitely gonna check the new update out! I still think back to this game from time to time, one of my favorites on the entire site and I'm dying to see your potential in the metroidvania space continue to flourish!!

On the map screen, why are there two little squares on the right? Seems to be a map legend but there is no text?

Oops, that's something that was added for part 2, it's used to look at all the different area maps, but there's only the one area in part 1 so it's useless...
