I stumbled on this unexpected gem today and I've been playing it for a few hours now. The writing is excellent, though I have encountered bugs where UI disappears and scenes skip (the latter making me quite sad!). Oh, and for some reason, I had my first lovely cutscene of getting collared by Augustine *before* she messaged me and we expressed interest in meeting one another for the first time. But overall I have been really enjoying the game, particularly the relationship between the MC and Augustine, and Augustine's psychology/characterization. I am very, very impressed by the writing. Not many things/games keep my attention.

I can't help but notice that the game is completely silent. No UI sounds, no SFX, no music. I'm quite taken with the project and I was wondering if you'd be open to collaboration. I'm a composer/sound designer/audio wizard with some minor gamedev/project management/writing experience. I'd love to help out at least on the audio side of things, and potentially foster a creative partnership. Let me know if you might be interested and I would be so happy to discuss.

Regardless, I look forward to seeing how this game develops.

Thank you for playing and for the kind words <3

Indeed, I need to address some scene overlay weirdness. The next version will (hopefully) fix the last event of the day happening on the same tick as the evening event.

Either way, missing a scene is not the end of the world, the content menu is unlocked after the game has been completed or by going to About > Game content access. If the UI is messed up and you need to reload the save will bring you back to the start of the current day. No guarantee you will get the exact same events as before but eventually you will see the one you missed.

Augustine's message should arrive on day 2, then meeting her happens on day 3 but there is indeed no guarantee players will have read the actual message. I will play around with the delay/condition, things are this way so deleting the message does not lock you out of the whole storyline :p

In regard to audio, it is something I had put in the maybe one day basket.

I truly appreciate the proposition however I am also quite attached to keeping everything as a one person operation for a variety of reasons.

It wouldn't feel right asking you to work on a project for credit only (i.e. for free) or to offer some kind of revenue sharing arrangement for a game that has made a grand total of 0 cents and which I am not especially keen on making profitable (i.e. for free).

I hate to turn down such a nice proposition but I also enjoy the comfort of doing everything on my own, without the need for back and forth or anyone expecting anything.

You playing and enjoying the game is already extremely nice!

Supporting high-quality queer-woman-centered games in an environment where so few exist is its own reward in my opinion—and something I am quite passionate about—but I totally get enjoying/preferring the process as a solo project. Thanks for your thoughtful response anyhow. :)

I was pretty on top of checking messages as soon as I received them—but maybe it was a different issue, I can't say for sure. Though it's interesting to hear that events are randomized–I did get the sense that Augustine was a bit warmer at times than the relationship development seemed to call for at that point and I now wonder if that's an effect of the randomization.

I understand and really appreciate the offer. The maybe one day basket contents may very well be on the program one day, at which point I would gladly reach out <3

I went over the event schedule and did some testing, something was indeed not right. The latest update should have fixed it alongside the disappearing UI.

Most story events are part of a narrative chain (can only be offered B if you've seen A) but very few have a hard date requirement so reloading a day means you may not get B out of the 4-5 daily events, it'll happen later instead.

The tonal progression is still something I need to tweak across scenes and interactions (the lastest update addresses some of that for the early game). At this point some of the early exchanges were written almost a year ago so going over their content and schedule is absolutely on the docket!
