I don't really understand what the main mechanic of the game is. Or how you win. Or what you do in general. Maybe its me, but it feel a little confussing.

No it's completely understandable that you're confused. The game was meant to play that you're controlling your character from attacking your allies who are collecting resources. When you collect all the resources you win. So you're " out of control " as a werewolf and when you transform back into human (which we didn't have the time for obviously) you're supposed to run away from the workers. We got a lot done for the very little time we had to work on it though!
