Very interesting title. Here are my thoughts:

I tried playing the original, this update does wonders for accessibility, and I much appreciate the update. The gameplay was fun, I tried it without any of the difficulty settings activated and managed to stumble my way through. The puzzles really neatly tie into the narrative, with the idea of a fragmented consciousness, and the obvious swapping connection. The final section was neat too, with the different meanings being implied with the initial and intended word order, although the last-second good/bad ending choice is a bit unsatisfying.

I do think the narrative overall can be a bit confusing, especially at the end, but I'm not going to be an advocate for the dilution of an author's creative work for the sake of narrative simplicity. Really glad this got an overhaul, looking forward to future work.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The original 500-word limit did make the story more abstract for sure. It's interesting to think about what a less constrained story in this format would look like—maybe someday. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it!

Oh! I didn't know there was a limit like that, very impressive work making a game like this with that constraint. Great stuff, can't wait to see more.
