That's a lot of demo content locked for a game that is not really good.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and testing out the demo!

I totally get why it feels that way, but there's actually about an hour's worth of upgrade content available right now!

The trick is starting with the "Essence Per Tile" upgrade. It boosts your resource gain so you can quickly unlock and max out the rest of the upgrades. Because this isn't clear enough at the start, it gives the false impression that things are locked, so I'm definitely working on better onboarding/tutorials for new players.

Thanks again for the feedback, it really helps me make the game better!

I think you either answer with ChatGPT or willingly avoid understanding the issue here,

The game is not good, it's simple, it's a random idle/incremental, forcing path upgrade on a game like this makes no sense, your answer is the proof of the issue.

Locking that much "random & simple" content for a demo is a bad demo operation, that's not how a demo is made.

Player choice in shaping the island is a core part of the design. Unlike typical idle/incremental games, I intentionally built this system to give players full control over their grid growth.

I know this style of progression isn't for everyone, and demo balancing is still an active process, but I appreciate you checking it out regardless. Hope you find something more up your alley on itch
