Truly this game was just simply amazing, I don't really have other words to describe this game and so the only thing I can say is thank you for making this amazing game.
I'll definitely buy the steam version some time, I don't think I'll like it as much as this text-based version. There's just such a charm to this format, like the small notes, the slowly creeping realization as you read things and figure them out, and just the detached feeling it invokes related to all the characters that I don't think you can really get from knowing their voices and faces.
All those and more are definitely things I'll miss in a audio-visual format,even so I'm sure it'll still be a 10 out of 10 game, just not my favorite version if it XD
For the steam game, I feel like one of the things you can do to keep the original feeling is not attach anyone’s pictures to their characters. Keep them all as shadow people.
But the steam game tells a second framing story that the authors simply couldn’t do in a text only GUI. So as you solve the Galley House mystery, your blood should run cold as you realize the significance of what is happening in the present.
