Wow! Your art is always hyper polished! Would love to see a behind-the-scenes video series on your process and pixel art pipeline!

Such wonderful praise, truly appreciate it! Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I don't have a video of the process, but it goes something like this:
Start with a silhouette, then use that silhouette to draw the bug I want to animate. Once the design is finished and all the details are in place, I split it into separate parts - the body, head, and legs.

When animating, I assign a different color to each leg segment so I can easily tell them apart. At that stage, those parts don't have any details - they're just solid-colored shapes in the form of the leg.

Once I'm happy with the animation, I go back and add all the details to each leg segment.

We need devlog deep dive posts in just this part of your process! With other examples. Your approach is priceless for newbie pixel artists.

Forces us to get the feeling right over getting lost polishing too early. I admit I've fallen in that trap. Maybe a separate Behind-the-scenes devlog for each of your packs or characters/boss types?

That's an interesting idea! I haven't done anything like that before, so I'll definitely give it some thought. I can't promise anything, but maybe one day! I'm really glad you like the art
