The History Of Spider-Man's Pointing Meme Explained

thank you, that's exactly what we were aiming for

You asked for a feedback on reddit, but I'm not able to comment with an image there, so here it is:

I like the style, especially the pastel colors!

I think the main thing to worry about are the shadows, try to unify their direction.
For example the house has only shadow on the front but there is no shadow around the house (the corner or left and right side)
This makes the house look like a paper cutout without any depth.
try to add something like in position II.
Your way of doing shadow works with characters but not with bigger structures, especially when you added that white curb for the house.
You did good with trees.

Also try to unify the way you use black outline, in position I. i colored the previously black line in dark brown like you did with chest and trees, i left the outline black because i presume the house should be interactable. (characters and interactable objects usually have black outline)

The same principle is basically in position IV. with the tree. but that one i leave to you, it is an artistic choice and i see your prespective is more of side view than top view, so it works here in my opinion.
BUt for more top-down view the tree shading should be done a bit different.

I think you should get rid of some colors that do not add too much to the objects. Like the greeen tree in position V. and Grass in position III.
The tree uses two very similiar green colors for its shading, so there is no point of using two colors, pick one or use darker/lighter color.
Also same thing with the grass and path, the shadow on the path was very light (you either want to add shadow or you don't, so go bold with it.

Anyway, really great work overall, and I wish you lots of success with the pack!

You might find some examples in blend files if you bought the Source version of the pack. Other than that, we only have the images available here on the itch main page. But I'd say, try take some inspiration from real road networks and build it based on it

The updates are definitely included, and you don't need to buy anything again. Anything you download from the main page will have the latest version. What you see in the devlogs is just what has been updated. A thanks for your support!

You're very welcome, thanks for your support!

That's an interesting idea! I haven't done anything like that before, so I'll definitely give it some thought. I can't promise anything, but maybe one day! I'm really glad you like the art

thanks Jimmy! The static collectibles are included in the "FREE" folder - there is a spritesheet with them

Woot, we're so glad you like it! It's our favorite pack too. And we'll do our best to make it happen - without getting sued for copying anyone! 😄

Your wish will come true! The giant boss was actually our first one in this pack, so I'm glad we've improved over time with the bosses that followed. That's a great idea, we'll definitely give it some thought. Thanks - we really appreciate it!

Such wonderful praise, truly appreciate it! Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I don't have a video of the process, but it goes something like this:
Start with a silhouette, then use that silhouette to draw the bug I want to animate. Once the design is finished and all the details are in place, I split it into separate parts - the body, head, and legs.

When animating, I assign a different color to each leg segment so I can easily tell them apart. At that stage, those parts don't have any details - they're just solid-colored shapes in the form of the leg.

Once I'm happy with the animation, I go back and add all the details to each leg segment.

Hola, no tenemos previsto hacer una versión de este tileset en 64x64 en el futuro. Lo siento!

Appreciate it!

Woot! We really appreciate your kind words, they mean a lot to us, and we'll remember them! We'd love to hear more about your game, so please keep us posted, whether on Discord or anywhere else!

Gracias!

Woot! We're the ones who should be thanking you - the game is great. I'll share it on our Discord as well. Keep it up!

(1 edit)

I only played it briefly, but wow! I had quite a lot of special ammo at the beginning, so I could completely wipe the opponent out, it's not that I'm complaining - a win is a win. In any case, the visuals, gameplay, details, sound, and ideas - it has everything. Overall impression of the game is great, it's well thought out! Keep it up

sounds like good plan to me!

Appreciate that, thank you!

Thanks a lot! You can find some examples in .blend files. For Gas Station there's Oil Rig (inside OilRig_Mock folder), or you can also find a built gas station, and Interiors have Offices for instance.

My pleasure!

Thank you, and we have more industrial characters packs planned!

very much appreciated!

yeah, we want to do something like mr. beans mini cooper, no ETA yet though

Don't worry! I'll bring the car back to the car lot in one piece!

Appreciate the comment and happy you like it <3

ooo beautiful! I am very happy to see this and I am really excited about it.
I will share it on our Discord as well!
Thank you for creating it!

thanks! we're not currently planning to make a top-down in the style of an industrial tileset, but I'll definitely think about it. Btw, take a look at our Mini Dungeon Tileset - it's top-down as well, although in a slightly different style

great suggestion - it definitely makes sense now that we’ve added these characters. We’ll see what we can do!
