It was a joke, but kinda could be away a secret way to test certain secret projects you worked on if you are a bit too lazy in company route. Dunno about freelance. but glad you were inspired. Like instead of general droning from certain point you now can't just meditate out your punishment, and need to deal with it first.... or wait it out like a good drone. And become better drone.
P.S. I meanliterally lazy slacking off onwork, doing gym stuff and socializing a lot.
