That was the first thing I tried but it didn't seem to work, I must have messed up the timings and not been fast enough. I came up with the jumping idea after that, which maybe seemed more plausible.

Wait, I know I totally don't need to keep explaining this because it's a stupid game jam game, but my explanation kind of sucked. You have to swap upwards in that little cubby, so that you're STANDING beside the wood, and THEN walk off and swap leftwards at the right moment. That way, when you walk off the edge, the cooldown isn't going to stop you from swapping leftwards. The way you tried, and the way I basically described, the cooldown isn't in time. Sorry lol. GG

Goat it haha, so simple. I basically did a speed run to that point and almost got it first try. As I was standing on the other side, the trap door thing landed on me as I was waiting around.
