Fun game to test your movement prediction skills. Some suggestions: I don't think the "perfect landing mechanic" is required, especially at the beginning. It is already difficult enough to jump to the right place. Maybe make the "perfect landing" something that is required for a later level (certain biome or type of platform). I would suggest starting with some more levels with easier jumps so the player learns to match the color of the character with the distance that will be jumped (and gets more invested in your game). Also, it took me a while to find out that the "shop screen" was a "shop screen" and a restart when you are out of coins would be good to have.

thanks for playing! I like the perfect land as inherent risk vs reward of getting max distance but learning to control that momentum. With better level design i would like to explore the ricochet system and back bounces. You can perfect land on your send bounc so you can actually go max distance + extra bounce and still not take damage.
I agree the game has an accessibility problem in its level design tho, I think lots of it could be more clear and I like your suggestion about starting slower to introduce the player to more things. Maybe have tutorial levels and then like you said, add required perfect lands as a difficulty spike. I like deep punish movement systems tho haha
