I love what you made here - it's an extremely charming game.
It reminds me of the game 'Black Souls' but without the fanservice (which is a good thing IMO).
The story, lore and world build is all very well done; it seamlessly immerses you into a dark fantasy world chock full of atmosphere and delight.
The spell upgrade to 'Mudsling' that says it targets all foes only targets single, so that spell is redundant as is; but luckily that's a very easy fix.
The fact that you get a full heal after each battle is quite nice as the difficulty spikes are quite steep, so I encourage other players to grind so they can get stronger.
I will also give you a rating soon, but I am checking for a possible discrepancy with the rating system in the jam Discord, so rest assured you will get my rating once that is resolved.
Also I noticed that after I saved and quit the game, then restarted a session later there is no option to continue from my save, meaning all my progress was lost :(
Other than that awesome jam game and great work. I will follow with interest :)
