As a fellow backrooms submission, well done, your version feels more like an old school Windows/Doom game capturing a completely different liminal experience than the one I had been creating.

I was genuinely scared when playing your game because even though I made a horror game I am terrible with having the sense of “what’s next”, or “where is he”. I was anticipating the monster so much that I just kept dashing praying he wouldn’t catch up to me.

I am not sure if it was intentional but the clocks being collected in the distance creeped me out. As if he is announcing, “I’m going to get you”, when I paused and I kept hearing it I got chills. Very well done.

thank you so much! the old retro feel was what i was going for. actually i was working on an old school wizardry style jrpg, when my friend told me it feels like backroom. that gave me the idea of backroom in the first place.

also picking up clock game design choice wasn't intentional but I'm glad it conveyed such feeling! my thought was more like pacman picking up powerups, but instead it just borrows you more time.

thank you so much for playing!!
