Wow, this is fun, the artstyle is cute, the puzzles are hardd. Also the onboarding was really well done and straight forward good stuff!

Thank you!

The aesthetic of this game reminded me of Cruelty Squad, such a fun design, well done!

I really enjoyed the soundtrack, was jamming hard to it haha.

I really liked what you did with the atmosphere, I felt with the card game I could just spam my deck most of the time and it would go to 0 pretty comfortably.

Thank you so much!

Thank you for playing! I agree, especially with the lighting, navigating Unity’s Global Illumination platform was a hassle to say the least haha, definitely something we want to build upon, also to create more consistency between the levels!

Yeah the exits are quite obscure, something we plan to fix post-game jam!

Thank you so much!

Love the artstyle and premise of the game, felt like a chemist who was bound to lose, havingt to figure out how to survive by scraping all the other notes, well done!

Really cool game, I had to grab the toilet paper more times that I would like to admit xd

Thank you! Yeah the exit can be quite hard to find, in the Backrooms there was a small hint to where it might’ve been

Great game!

The buttons were so nice to press I was just pressing it the whole time

I can see the concept becoming something nice, I love the 2D mixed with the 3D, the games concept kinda’ reminds me of my game, but the match idea is definitely a good one, could tie into the theme very well.

Thank you so much for the kind words, we put a lot of effort into the atmosphere and sound design of the game glad it payed off!

Haha, that’s awesome to hear, thank you for playing!

Already did! :)

The polish is insane

As a fellow backrooms submission, well done, your version feels more like an old school Windows/Doom game capturing a completely different liminal experience than the one I had been creating.

I was genuinely scared when playing your game because even though I made a horror game I am terrible with having the sense of “what’s next”, or “where is he”. I was anticipating the monster so much that I just kept dashing praying he wouldn’t catch up to me.

I am not sure if it was intentional but the clocks being collected in the distance creeped me out. As if he is announcing, “I’m going to get you”, when I paused and I kept hearing it I got chills. Very well done.

It gives me Pokemon Red vibes with the artstyle

Is there a link or download to the game, it looks fun but I cannot see it anywhere.. :/

The artstyle is absolutely incredible, well done!

I loved this, so fun, I got terrified when I realised I had to memorize the entire batman logo, madman!

This sells the idea of a game jam so well

Love warioware games

Valiant effort, the concept is there and that is often the hardest part. If you would like to continue the game I would recommend looking into Mix and Jam’s video about Celeste’s character controller, even though it’s for 2D they give great tips as to how you can make your character “feel” better.

A bit hard to control, appreciate the Speed thumbnail

Great themeing well done!

Cute game, my aimlabs training came in handy here hehe

Easy to understand mechanic, currently the game gives me warioware vibes where it could be a mini game in a bigger game.

I like the artstyle, it has this ominous but nostalgic feeling not sure how to place it. I did find a bug where if you move in a direction and pull out your ciggies it keeps moving in your last walk direction.

The art and sfx is so cute!

Loved that you have to plan multiple cycles, really nails the theme well. I can see this extend way further, well done!

Thank you so much for playing, glad you enjoyed it, we put a lot of effort into the atmosphere, visuals and sound design. We had a crouch and a slide, but at some point we had to make a hard decision to scrap it. Who knows maybe we will continue development after the jam!

Thank you so much!

Cool concept, you guys really nailed the storytelling and the art. Loved the aesthetic

Ahh cool! I used to watch the Bloodthief dev logs, I can see it now that you mention it

Cool idea, I feel like it should’ve had some telegraphing

Love the art of this game well done!
