I really wish you could use the mouse, combining E Q looking around with WASD and throwing in a mazelike map design was a bit annoying lol. I got to the red level, not sure if there's an ending but it took me quite a while, and I think my timer started going down way faster for some reason and time wasn't any issue until the drops that give time stopped being spawned. The music sounded interesting but was a bit annoying after a while. Ok sorry for being so negative, but I really loved the art, especially how the character's hood would mimic a mouth for expressions, you are really creative man!! And the shotgun was pretty cool too. Glad to see I wasn't the only one making an FPS :D

There is technically an end state (you know you get there when the music changes) but you basically beat it. And yeah the timer does get faster each layer (and then once a loop when you get to the red layer). I'm glad you liked some parts of it at least! it's definitely pretty rough and there are a few things I wanna improve/change for a potential post jam version.
Thanks for playing!
Hope I didn't come off too negative, I just wanted to give honest feedback so you could improve upon it. I really liked the ideas you had (also forgot to compliment the UI being little windows), and it would've been a super fun experience if not for some slight annoyances. Hope to see more games from you in the future gamejams :D
Nah you're good. You were pretty polite and everything you said was fair.
The level design is probably the games biggest weakness IMO, and I know the control scheme is kinda weird. There was a reason for it but I didn't have time to actually add that reason and by the time I got to that point I couldn't change to a more normal scheme either.
