I liked that the game had narrative, and a larger overarching story. The combat and movements felt good, I liked the dash mechanic.

For me, the biggest issue was the sword would move my character forward on each attack, so when hitting larger mobs with more hp, I would keep running into them and losing a life. Would’ve loved the sword mechanics to relay the impact and weight somehow differently (without moving my actual character).

Overall, liked the submission. Thank you!

yeah I did that so that you cant just hammer on the bigger enemies, the push forward is slightly more than the knockback you deal so you have to fall back after like 4-5 hits! Sorry you didn't like it though lol

Got it, glad to know it was intentional. Not sure if this is a good suggestion or not, but for me, what would’ve made more sense, was some sort of slam attack from the bigger mobs (along with the dash) to make sure I can’t just wail on it, and have to dodge out.

I do admit, making the player go forward on each attack is a very unique approach!
