This is a great concept for a mini-game. I'm not sure if there's a visual hint for the remaining time in timed mode or if it's only the audio clues. Good job!
There's a number counting down in the top-left, and the polyomino gets closer to the board each time it counts down. (…although there isn't a hint on the one-tile polyomino since it's just there for one time unit)
