The concept is solid, though it feels a bit too easy once you get going. What features were you planning on adding? There is definitely a lot of room to expand this, so I would love to see where you take a post-jam version.

There are quite a few features I was planning to add, but didn't have the time for. There's the juice stuff like animations for scoring the cards, sounds, music, but I was also a lot more gameplay wise. A difficulty system, with progressively harder score goals, shops in between that would let you buy items or modify the cards in the deck, the items and modifiers themselves. Also a proper win/loss screen, the win screen was added in the last 20 minutes before the jam was up, and the loss screen I completely forgot about.

I'm definitely going to take a few days off from working on the game, I already did around 50 hours of work on it during the jam. I don't think that will stop me from thinking about it though. Who knows when the post jam version will be out, or what it will have!

In my previous jams I made sure to fix little things I didn't have time to work on during the jam. But most people struggle to find the self motivation to do that. Its understandable if you just want to leave it after the jam and move on to something else, its all part of the learning process. I hope you join next year as well, will be cool to see how you improve.
