Cool concept! I feel like the rules could be explained a bit better, and there are some bugs (like being able to walk through a wall, and pressing Z did nothing for me), but it has the potential for a fun puzzle game!

walking through wall was intentional to allow for shortcuts (there is a subtle difference between the sprite colors)

i feel like trial and error is the best way to showcase the rules without explicitly explaining it

what computer you using? pressing z seems to work fine on mine.

Ohh right, my bad! Seems I wasn't smart enough to figure it out :D
I played in browser on a windows PC, so no idea why Z wasn't working... still, it's a great game!

i probably shouldve chosen a better color contrast to make it more obvious, and change the character's contrast as they walk through the wall

wonder if you had capslock being on, maybe it was recognising capital Z, not lowercase z
