I enjoy the positioning strategy aspect of this game, attempting not to get stuck in the middle of nowhere and thinking about future moves to do it. I did not quite understand why the tiles sometimes display their timer numbers and sometimes do not. It appears that the timer is running whether or not you can see it. Tile color, meanwhile, seems more reliable.
