This was an awesome movement shooter with some really well done mechanics.
Movement feels great, shooting and slashing feels great, I really love being able to juggle enemies in the air! And jsut the pumping music, the sounds of the weapons and enemies are great, also I just really love the sound of the floating platforms coming up!
And I like the detail of adding the extra hard fight in the first level for if the player retries the game or if they guess the sorta grapple points. Which by the way are fun, but I don't remember ANY explanation of using them, I just kinda guessed after dying a lot.
And at this point I should mention this game feels really fun, but frankly the SBIG elements feel very muted compared to STATIC. Like the gameplay feels improved, but I recall STATIC feeling more like a proper janky game. The cutscenes though did as some humour and were a good touch, and the ending did fit into a good SBIG entry.
The boss fight with the biblically accurate angel was cool, but frankly I was thrown off by not being able to parry the lobbed projectiles. Maybe playing Doom The Dark Ages led me astray but they felt like a natural candidate for a parry.
The combat didn't feel as click heavy this time which my index finger appreciates, I think I would have preferred being able to hold down the left-click for auto firing the pistols and right-click for power shot, but it's an acceptable tradeoff I think.
Overall this was a very fun game to play, great work!
