Good concept, decent execution, had fun !
I didn't like the ambiguity of the effects i was choosing, i never really understood what half the things i chose did even after playing for a long time afterwards (and trying to figure out what "lucky hand" could possibly mean..)
there's a weird UI thing where the escape button is BLUE and underneath the timer, it doesn't look like an EXIT button, more like a tab, i impulsively thought it would show me an inventory pause menu or something - so i clicked it mid run and lost my run.
the difficulty can wildly vary due to the way the modifications can end up stacking,
on my very first run it kept giving me extra cards in hand and i was bored for a bit until it picked up like normal,
on my last run it gave me a TON of piles to start, and then kept adding numbers when i had little cards in hand, usually i'd say "it'll work itself out" but it might be nice for there to be some normalization,
sadly, i didn't get close to the round limit, and i would have tried to beat it if the game didn't take so long... - maybe if the animations were snappier, (while retaining the same timings for showing card values and such) it wouldn't take so long to get back into a run.
ran into a bug once where i died even though i dragged the right number (3 onto a 4), unsure what caused it..
with enough polish i could easily see myself having this on my phone to kill time.
felt good to play, loved the modifications making the game work differently, strong concept, good game!
