Small problem. I see your screenshots and know there's more to this game, but the only interactables I could get to is the life button and the green upgrady thing. I know there's more, but I'm missing some obvious thing that probably has to do with the red things on the floor. Can you pls tell me; I'll hold off rating this until I see the whole game.

Okay I just forgot the space bar existed my bad. I got to 45 seconds and two speed boosts then was a bit too risky with getting the key in the maze, and I really don't want to do it all again, sorry.
One part I don't like is all the waiting you have to do, especially in pressing "E" a bunch of times or getting upgrades. I just feel like there's not much reason for both of those actions to be instant to make the game go by faster. Though if your goal was to make it purposefully long and keep me hooked on one attempt because getting there took so long then never mind. Maybe I'm just impatient. Or maybe I'm not appreciating the life button sound effect enough.
Sorry if I'm being too critical, and my bad for not seeing the space bar in the starting art. Fun game, might play it again.
This is fair criticism, some people enjoy the repetitive clicking so there is an entire genre about it and others do not. As far as waiting for the button to come up there is always something you could be doing instead of waiting for it to come up so it becomes a matter of scheduling tasks and bouncing back and forth between things rather than just sticking to one thing and one thing alone. No need to be sorry being critical of each other is a key aspect of growth and none of my friends I showed the game to wanted to say anything negative about it so I appreciate it. I went for a no explanation invisible tutorial kind of vibe and if I got burned for it so be it.
