I didn't play the demo yet, and I'd actually prefer to know something before I commit (I will play either way, but depending on the answer I may play the demo or wait for the full thing).
While this is an alternate reality to the OG game, is this the same MC in that alternate reality, or is this a reality where a different girl altogether got transported instead?
Wdym, this should have nothing to do with it being a demo only? Who dares to make sense?! No but in all seriousness, while it doesn't have anything to do per se, I really REALLY loved the OG protagonist's relationship with Roy and I would have loved HER to have an alternate route for him instead (though to be fair, the route I would have liked the most would have been to have the full Duke romance BUT be able to save Roy while being only platonic with him, but alas). So if it's the same protagonist, I'll be eager to try the demo. But if it's a different person, then I will probably have mixed feelings and won't be able to avoid comparing the two with only a short sample on hand, which in turn may lessen my enjoyment of the game as a whole. In that case, it's better if I wait for the full thing so I won't be able to overthink before I get used to the new protag!
