Hello! If you mean if there’s a Steam version of “FFS, Another Northern Duke?!”, yes there is! However, it’s of the spicy version and due to Steam’s rules, we cannot upload the SFW version on Steam.
If you’re referring to the new update, yes, the Steam version will be updated at a later point.
Oh, perhaps it has to do with the way the zipped folder is extracted? You might have to try a different program like WinRAR and maybe that will extract the zipped folder with the game inside.

Are you on Windows or Linux? Did you get an error message when you tried launching? Did anything pop-up from the program or from your computer itself?
Are you launching through Itch.io’s launcher itself or through the zipped folder? If it’s the former, you might have to go into your files where Itch stores the game and launch the .exe (Windows) or the .sh (Linux) manually.
If you can access the “log.txt” file within the game’s folder and paste the information in a reply, that would be possibly helpful!
Afterwards, you can try deleting the zip file and re-downloading it from the page.

Please base your purchase of the game on whether you want it on Itch or Steam, not because of an additional Steam key.
There is no ‘should,’ because it’s up to the player which mode they wish to play. We only added the story mode post-release because some players preferred a more linear narrative.
We assumed the last scene and conversation Roy had with MC were clear enough an indicator as to why he died, but we’ll keep it in mind to make things like that more obvious in the future.

Had we known the other characters would be so well-liked, we would have written the script to include their routes as well, but since that’s no longer possible, we will use the hinted in-game AU setting to make a spin-off. The pre-isekai MC will be the same, but she will embody a different character once she is transferred into the ‘novel’ but that’s all we can say right now.

To unlock helping Cassandra instead of just following Roy, you need to have handicrafts as a hobby.
To unlocking asking Roy after Duke wakes up, you need to have botany as a hobby.
