What a treasure trove of SBIGJam lore! It kinda made me feel a bit nostalgic. Seeing Geralt and Jennifer and Sid and the excessive sound guys and the other cast of characters was a really nice throwback! (It did make me replay parts of riftbreak 😂) Honestly the ending made me feel a bit sentimental. Obviously as someone who has seen all of these games, and also feels the pain of not properly finishing something 😅 It did feel like a true send off to SBIGJam (as in, it was completely half-baked 🤣).

World design was very on point! Surprised by the completely pointless driving mechanic. 😄 Thanks for your service to SBIGJam over the past 10 years. It's truely been a memorable ride.

Thanks for playing!

It felt right to bring out the old characters and work them into what is really more a celebratory look back than an actual game. I wanted to put in some of the recurring characters like Kevin34, Frank Malone, and the Tortoise, but I just didn't have time to go beyond my own creations (and even then some are missing). The ending is 100% a meta narration aimed straight at the player, and at the old hands especially.

I threw the car in at the last minute, I'd already built it for a project that will never see the light of day, so I figured "what the hell, if it works I'll ship it."

I'm not quite done with this yet- the part in the ending narration about finishing the game and making it a proper sendoff is real. But I'll talk about that more after the jam.
