OMG I think this is so unfortunate and sad, because I find everything exceptionally well executed, art, audio, prog, and I just couldn't have fun, and I think it is just because I hope to have fun as a battle game with kind of a "real time build making" and that sounded so fun, but there is just too many mechanics that just kills this fun. I had probably 10% of fun thinking about how to manage my attacks etc to beat the enemies, and 90% of what the hell is it not working x) I made it until the first boss, sometimes it feels completely impossible and sometimes I won but never understood how, I never thought it was because I played well, it just always felt kind of random, and I think this is especially due to the cutting cables and cool-down mechanic, there is a bunch of things happening that feels like I can't predict or adapt to, also probably lacks of clear view of which nodes is being played. Maybe it is also just too difficult? But it doesn't feel like it, it just feels like I'm not able to enjoy what the game wants me to. I think this concept is not totally incompatible, the idea of real time managing your build and attacks to adapt to different fight is super fun on the table. Nothing denies that this game is an IMPRESSIVE amount of work and dedication for a 10 days jam, wow. Honestly, if you plan to do anything more about this game I'll be very glad to try out one day
(Sorry for the wall of text I really wanted to share all I thought about this game cause I genuinely think could be amazing TvT)
