OMG I think this is so unfortunate and sad, because I find everything exceptionally well executed, art, audio, prog, and I just couldn't have fun, and I think it is just because I hope to have fun as a battle game with kind of a "real time build making" and that sounded so fun, but there is just too many mechanics that just kills this fun. I had probably 10% of fun thinking about how to manage my attacks etc to beat the enemies, and 90% of what the hell is it not working x) I made it until the first boss, sometimes it feels completely impossible and sometimes I won but never understood how, I never thought it was because I played well, it just always felt kind of random, and I think this is especially due to the cutting cables and cool-down mechanic, there is a bunch of things happening that feels like I can't predict or adapt to, also probably lacks of clear view of which nodes is being played. Maybe it is also just too difficult? But it doesn't feel like it, it just feels like I'm not able to enjoy what the game wants me to. I think this concept is not totally incompatible, the idea of real time managing your build and attacks to adapt to different fight is super fun on the table. Nothing denies that this game is an IMPRESSIVE amount of work and dedication for a 10 days jam, wow. Honestly, if you plan to do anything more about this game I'll be very glad to try out one day

(Sorry for the wall of text I really wanted to share all I thought about this game cause I genuinely think could be amazing TvT)

Thanks for playing!
But yea, i do wish I had more time to work and expand on this game. In truth I probably only worked 5 out of 10 days on this game Xp If i were (and I do want to) expand upon this game in the future, I think it'd be more settup based, with some addaption. I'd probably also only reserve connection cutting for some enemies rather than a small chance for all.
But what makes you feel that way about the cooldowns? I feel they were kinda necessary for balance and stratify, otherwise strong nodes would have to take a lot of MP instead, and that'd be strange to me at least XD

But yea, no problem!I love long replies and feedback ^^

About the cooldown idk maybe just unbalancing then ? O nearly never witness when the node worked but only when they didn't work while I thought they would, that may be just me or a UI understandability problem maybe? I'll be honnest I can't be sure but what I'm sure of is that the cooldowns felt like "no you're not gonna do what you want" x)

Maybe I'd prefer slower attack rate and more tanky ennemis but cooldowns that would be only for some powerful nodes. Thx for the reply btw (how did you manage to do this in 5 days TvT?).
