I played your game then at the compo, and I enjoyed it very much. Actually, it was my favourite contribution. I like graphic adventures in general, and the Game Boy surely has a deficit in that regard. The only ones i know are: Deja Vu and Scooby Doo. Even your demo was better than those two imho, so i'm looking forward to the finished version. Can't wait to play it, but no pressure. Take all the time necessary.

So glad you enjoyed the demo! I'd also add Shadowgate Classic to your list, but just like Deja Vu, the UI is super clunky and makes progress an absolute pain. My goal is to reduce all that friction with a more user-friendly interface.

I totally forgot Shadowgate Classic! You're right. And I believe your approach is too. A def should avoid the clunkiness if technically possible. The riddles remain the same anyway, right? I haven't played your update yet, but the OG version was already well playable. I'm confident that you will deliver.
