Super cohesive style! The artwork and UI all work together nicely, damage in red, very nice.
I think the system works really well! The main piece of feedback I'd give is making the progression a bit faster or more immediate. Also, the BGM fits the theme SO well, but it should definitely be longer/more varied. These are just some small details, though, the overall package is really great--nice job!
