I don't see how that's better - your official suggestion is "respect the rule but not the spirit"? Wouldn't it be better to just ditch the rule and not make us spam itch with duplicate games?

But I understand what you mean. Remember, that what you describe as a “duplicate” game has to be substantially different than the uploaded one. If someone straight up “duplicates” the entry I will just disqualify them. I will check for that. And I think this will block all the people who mass-submit their games. They will not take the effort to read the rules :D At least this gives me an easy way to distinguish between fair and unfair entries - if it has more than one jam in entries I disqualify :D
