Just wanted to mention that the controls were inverted for me, left/right and up/down…

Sup, mate! Loved your game, it could be actually a cool trackmania/platformer mix:) Played it here: https://youtube.com/live/seiPxYz8FZ8
The movement is one of the things that are NOT bugged, as opposed to everything else :D It was made in CPP, and the controls are actually: SDFE - because it’s easier on my keyboard HJKL - because it’s VIM mode :D
I was going to change it too some more regular controls when I finish the gameplay loop. But then it turned out that there is some bug in export to html, and it was due to the library I was using, and that kind of broke my spirit:(
But this game is so intriguingly strange that I think I will go back and finish it one day :D
Thanks for trying it out:)
Just wanted you to know I played it on my stream, a quick clip: https://www.twitch.tv/potatogamedev/clip/BoredHotMarrowOpieOP-Ee-TQaFGwWIfaXBC
Next stream 07.08.2025, 22:00 CEST. I will play those games, no matter if the authors are there (i think they wanted me to play their games but are busy/sleeping in the hours I stream, so I will not wait for them on the stream, I hope you don’t mind…): Traffic Chaos The Archivist Ten Nights Picking Lemons SpaceWarz.exe
The next stream today at 22:00 CEST, let me know if you want to be there and see your game played:) If no suggestions (or no one watching :D ) I will just play by the “least reviewed” order. Here: https://www.twitch.tv/potatogamedev
I played it on my stream so you can actually watch it:) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2528459692?t=1h57m17s
Hi! Some advice:
-
Don’t leave creating the game’s jam entry to the last moment. Remember you have to publish it before submitting it for the jam! From 3 game jams I attended, 2 times I failed to submit my game in time :D Fool me twice :(
-
Don’t be shy to advertise your games in the jam’s community. That’s ok. The jam is community graded, so other accounts who submitted an entry will grade your game. People tend to play more of the games they know exist. In big jams your game will just sink if you don’t advertise it. Our jam is tiny, but still, why not brag about your creation?

If you are not sure if you have the time to work on a project for a whole week, remember you can create a tiny demo in one day and submit it. Still it’s fun and shows support!
Share your own game jam experiences and advice!
Hi, I am the initiator of the jam’s idea. Just some disclaimers: I am NOT in the SKG organization, I am just a community member. I created the Stop Killing Games itch account and the jam under that account, to direct attention to SKG movement.
Still, AFAIK there is no one else interested in conducting such a jam, and I think the idea is neat. So I think it’s “legit” in that sense:D
