this genuinely felt like I was being haunted by the fandoms of internet past, oh my god.
First I wanna say the presentation of this work was fantastic! The characters were so expressive, and there was some really ingenious usage of GUI tricks throughout that had me gasping out loud. The SFX were very punchy and crisp as well, which was fun during some scenes and GENUINELY VILE in others.
This game left me feeling gross, and slimy, and uncomfortable even from the very beginning, and that feeling continued to pervade throughout the whole game. I know Sunnys. I know Anitas. I've been both at many different points in my life, and knowing just how raw and realistic many of the discourse points were left me squirming in my seat.
By the time I finished this game I felt like I had been coated in a film of grime and viscera, uncomfortable but impressed by the sheer disgust I felt. Genuinely an entry that's going to haunt me for a while.
