Neat little game! I love TINTOY so I was very excited to play this- I mostly liked it, but I had some quibbles.

I feel like the game really itches for some equivalent to daily life. You don't have anywhere to show off your changes that isn't the intense negotiation. Tintoy keeps you with the captor because, well, that's the point- intense, trapped, with only someone else to define you. But in Covenant the idea is that you can walk away- I'd like something where you can express yourself to someone besides the saint, have them express concern or love for the new you.

I feel like the endings are all kind of weak? there's no scene to them besides negotiation- you don't get to luxuriate in the new you or the lost life.

Also, I feel like the pilgrim's card trick mechanic is extremely strong.

this is very good analysis. thank you for playing conscientiously.
