Neat little game! I love TINTOY so I was very excited to play this- I mostly liked it, but I had some quibbles.

I feel like the game really itches for some equivalent to daily life. You don't have anywhere to show off your changes that isn't the intense negotiation. Tintoy keeps you with the captor because, well, that's the point- intense, trapped, with only someone else to define you. But in Covenant the idea is that you can walk away- I'd like something where you can express yourself to someone besides the saint, have them express concern or love for the new you.

I feel like the endings are all kind of weak? there's no scene to them besides negotiation- you don't get to luxuriate in the new you or the lost life.

Also, I feel like the pilgrim's card trick mechanic is extremely strong.

You can always buy and sacrifice, but offerings don't add to storage until you've built the pedestal, and you can't sacrifice/upgrade a resource until you've bought the corresponding offering pedestal at least once.

The design of a lot of the games but especially horde mode seem antithetical to a very idle design. IT's idle... but only if I check in with it every 5-15 minutes for between 30 minutes and two hours to set up a run. Many games it seems like the only way to make progress is to pay constant attention and rebuy upgrades, especially with a prestige mechanic in at least the first 3 games.

shields are set to max void power during power challenge instead of current void power.

synth starting materials still definitely are there for the synth challenge right now. it extremely trivializes it, though i would have3 been able to do most of it anyhow.

I've had some rounding errors where, EG: My blue upgrade for base 1 will display a price of 10e22 instead of 1e23
