Thanks for sharing! It really got me thinking, and I tried to incorporate your ideas while aligning them to the rest of the rules. This is what I came up with- 

**Downtime**

Every Punk needs a little downtime each day, taking time to eat, drink, sleep and hang out. 

- To eat and drink you need a Ration. 

- To sleep you need 2 Watches in a single place. Travelling in a craft counts as a single place, as you take turns to nap and drift on the current. 

- To hang out your Punk has to reflect on their situation, sharing a story or thought with a comrade or a journal. This can be a moment to relieve certain Burdens. 

If any of these are impossible, due to a lack of Rations or time, or neglected, your Punk becomes Deprived. 

**Rations**

Rations use a d6 Usage Die, and take up one slot of Inventory.

**Refreshing Rations**

It’s possible to find or refresh Rations through foraging, fishing or finding fresh water. All take one Watch in a suitable environment and a successful LCK or DEX Save. You can make a second Save if conditions are favourable, such as when in shallow seas or on a natural island. Fishing is possible at sea between legs, but removes one knot die for the next leg.
