Lovely art, fun concept. You should add some negative pressure too though. For instance the incoming goblins are fairly inconsequential. Plus, you can't even do anything about them. Would be interesting if we had to figure out whether to invest resources in defense versus mining creating a kind of fun tension. Or repurposing workers for different roles

Man i had this whole system of trolls mixed with goblins and they hold a huge rock/tree and slam dwarves with it, You could build walls every wave to make your up to 3 upgradeable Archers hit them more , but the time constraint cancelled lots of plans i had for this game , barely submitted it 1 minute before the deadline.
I made few updates since posting it though, but i'll have to wait for evaluation week before i add more stuff to stick to fairness.
