after the button press and respawn you were supposed to move left, where the closed door is now open ;D

it's so rare to see a solo developer work on a 3D game for a game jam and it turns out anything other than a HOT MESS

this was quite the trip.

for some weird reason i couldn't press PLAY from main menu on browser version, then i downloaded it and tried it.

i investigated and found out about a fatal bug where after you load at checkpoint, the jumping levels don't reset, so eventhough you pick "Jump higher" the game thinks you're already maxed at lvl 3 and won't increase your basic jumps. yikes.
just gotta change a simple line to fix it tonight ;D

Love the concept, the game was sadly a bit too slow on my browser to be able to play it for long

stoopid question, is "Bad Idea" part of the theme as well? so it's Outside the box and encouraged to be a bad idea? or it's just the Jam name? ;D

the game right now needs a balancing update, some people got it way easier/harder than others.

During developing this game i absolutely treated it like a prison where the player can't leave before finishing it. Now that i actually tried rating other games in this jam and THEN trying my game myself, i have no idea how anyone had the patience to even get to the red button part to start later punishing them with a luck based mechanic. This is so valuable to know and to see things from the player's side.

100% big changes for any later "game-jam game" im making.

this is such a fresh take on a card game, yet has so much depth to it. love it
