I think this is a really cool concept for a game, the on-track nature really gives you the feeling of being at the whim of something else's command. I was a little confused when it talked about being able to defend yourself now, did that unlock a new ability?

If you wanted to improve, make it so the character doesn't start moving until they press E by the first button and create a circular track in the first room until the button is pressed. This would give the player time to learn the controls instead of just restarting a few times. On top of that, some sort of button click and door unlock noise could really help the game feel more responsive. Lastly the text box at the bottom could be a little bigger, sometimes text would leak outside of it

Overall, fun game! Can't wait to see what you do with it moving forward. Good luck! If you have time, check out my game: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/694820

The idea was there, but I feel like the presentation and convyance of what you wanted were a bit lacking. The music was also really grating, and the lack of volume controls made it inconvenient after only a few loops. I feel like you could have done a much better job with more time to work.

Nice game! Although I think it would be cool if you made the first 2 levels of the game into a rhythm game and you had to time your attacks / interactions with the music. Also, i don't know if it was intended but I struggled with the movement

The control in the 3rd level is intended... I probably didn´t explain it very well... And also nice idea. Thanks for the feedback!
